Anna Harycki, an 18-year-old car wash worker in Indiana, is making headlines for her swift and powerful response to a rude customer. In a 14-second video that has gone viral on social media, Harycki can be seen power-washing a white sedan when a woman suddenly rolls down her window and throws a plastic cup of lemonade at the teen.
Without hesitation, Harycki retaliates by aiming her hose at the woman’s open window and dousing her with water. She then goes back to her work as if nothing happened. The incident took place on February 3.

According to a report by The New York Post, the car wash where Harycki works has taken action against the customer, banning her from returning. Harycki’s response has been praised by many online, who see it as a fitting response to the customer’s rude behaviour.
“I told my managers, who were not OK with [the customer] throwing a drink at me,” Harycki told Jam Press.
The clip also surfaced on X and Harycki’s actions were applauded by people.
