Taylor Swift has donated $100,000 to the family of a woman killed during Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl celebrations.

Lisa Lopez-Galvan, a local radio DJ, was killed in the shooting, which left more than 20 injured.

Three suspects, including two children, have been arrested after the attack on Wednesday.

Swift, whose boyfriend Travis Kelce was in Kansas City for the celebrations after his team won the Super Bowl at the weekend, shared her condolences with Ms Lopez-Galvan’s family through a message on a GoFundMe page.

“Sending my deepest sympathies and condolences in the wake of your devastating loss,” the singer wrote.

Her two separate $50,000 donations have helped the family raise more than $190,000 – surpassing their target of $75,000.

Writing on the page, Ms Lopez-Galvan’s family said the 44-year-old was celebrating at the Chiefs’ Super Bowl victory parade when she was “senselessly killed“.

“She is survived by two children and her husband of 22 years,” they wrote.

“She was an amazing mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend to so many. We ask that you continue to keep her family in your prayers as we grieve the loss of her life.

“This fund will help provide vital financial support to her family as they process this unthinkable tragedy.”

The parade and rally marked the Chiefs’ third Super Bowl in five years and their second in a row.

The mass shooting unfolded amid huge crowds in Kansas City and appeared to stem from an argument between several spectators, authorities said.

Police Chief Stacey Graves said 22 people injured in the shooting ranged between the ages of eight and 47 years old, and half were under the age of 16.

The team’s stars reacted with horror after the shooting.

The Chiefs’ star quarterback Patrick Mahomes wrote on X: “Praying for Kansas City,” shortly after the incident, while Kelce, a Chiefs linebacker, said in a statement on Wednesday: “I am heartbroken over the tragedy that took place today.”

“My heart is with all who came out to celebrate with us and have been affected. KC, you mean the world to me.”

Ms Lopez-Galvan has been described as an extrovert and devoted mother, according to Rosa Izurieta and Martha Ramirez, two childhood friends who worked with her at a staffing company.

“She’s the type of person who would jump in front of a bullet for anybody – that would be Lisa,” Ms Izurieta said.
