Zootopia 2 is coming to theatres next year, according to Bob Iger. The Chief Executive Officer of the Walt Disney Company announced one of the company’s earning calls, Judy Hopps (Ginnifer Goodwin) and Nick Wilde (Jason Bateman) are all set to come to screens on November 26, 2025.
The 2016 first movie grossed more than $1 billion and won the Oscar for Best Animated Film. Zootopia also inspired a series of Disney+ shorts, called Zootopia+, which were directed by Trent Correy and Josie Trinidad. Additional details about the hugely anticipated sequel are yet to be revealed.
Judy Hopps, a teenage rabbit who aspired to work as a police officer in a big city, was the focus of Zootopia. However, following a dismal first day on the job, she meets Nick Wilde, a fox who makes it his life’s profession to deceive people for his own gain. The characters don’t get along at first, but when they learn of Dawn Bellwether’s (Jenny Slate) scheme to alter the city’s regulations, they have no choice but to cooperate. Rich Moore and Byron Howard directed the film.
