Taylor Swift’s father is being investigated by NSW police over an alleged assault of a paparazzo near Neutral Bay wharf on Tuesday morning.
In a statement to this masthead NSW police confirmed an investigation was launched after a 51-year-old man reported a 71-year-old man assaulted him at about 2.30am before leaving the location. Neither man required medical treatment.

The Daily Telegraph first reported that the megastar’s father, 71-year-old Scott Kingsley Swift, was involved in the alleged incident, which took place on Sydney’s north shore.
“The younger man reported the incident and inquiries are now underway by officers attached to North Shore Police Area Command,” an NSW police spokesperson said.
