Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde is firm on tickets for all 13 sitting MPs who came along with him to form an alliance govt with BJP in Maharashtra, said sources.
Union home minister Amit Shah arrived in Mumbai on Tuesday. Sources said a meeting was held at Sahyadri state guest house and was attended by Shah, Shinde, and his deputies Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar.
“Fadnavis and Pawar were there for sometime and later left. Thereafter, Shah had a one-on-one meeting with Shinde. Shinde was insistent that all sitting MPs of his party be given tickets. Shah tried to explain the ground reality to him in various seats…. the discussion will continue tomorrow,” said sources.
