A 43-year-old man has been charged with common assault following an incident in which Roy Keane was allegedly headbutted.
Scott Law, from Waltham Abbey in Essex, was charged via post on 13 February. He is due to appear at Highbury Magistrates’ Court next Thursday.
The incident allegedly took place on 3 September last year shortly after Arsenal beat Manchester United 3-1 at the Emirates Stadium.
Footage on social media appeared to show Keane’s fellow Sky Sports pundit Micah Richards stepping in to calm a confrontation.
