Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s is all set to venture into the world of Netflix with his upcoming web series, ‘Heeramandi’. Now, IndiaToday.in has exclusively learnt that the first song from this project, titled ‘Sakal Ban’ will be getting a grand global release on the stage of Miss World 2024, on March 9. This song will also be the first track from Bhansali’s new music label, Bhansali Music.
As per the independent industry source, “The first song of ‘Bhansali Music’, ‘Sakal Ban’ which also marks the first song of Bhansali’s ‘Heeramandi’ will be launched on a global platform of Miss World. For the first time will see a song having a world stage launch on the prestigious podium of ‘Miss World’.”

Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the period drama is described as an “epic saga of love, power, betrayal, struggle and, ultimately, freedom.” The show is set during the backdrop of the freedom movement. The ensemble cast of the series includes Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Sanjeeda Shaikh, Aditi Rao Hydari, Richa Chadha, Sharmin Segal, Shekhar Suman, Fardeen Khan, Adhyayan Suman and Taha Shah.
