Robinson, though, said he would welcome Jorgensen at the club in the future.
“I’ve known him since he was a kid,” Robinson said. “[I’m] great mates with his dad. We had him training here a while ago. There’s always a door open for that at some point, but that hasn’t been discussed from the last time we tried to sign him.

“The door is always open for Jorgo at some point. There’s no pressure there. When that time comes we’ll need to speak probably a fair while in advance to get that organised knowing how good he’s going to be.”
The Roosters have a number of big-name players leaving the club at the end of the season. Joseph Manu is expected to depart to take up a deal with a Japanese rugby club and Joseph Suaalii will join the Waratahs in next year’s Super Rugby Pacific competition as part of his $1.6 million deal with Rugby Australia.

Suaalii could travel with the Wallabies later this year on their European spring tour in November, should he be selected by new head coach Joe Schmidt.
The Roosters, however, have hit back at the 15-man code by snatching Wallabies star Mark Nawaqanitawase from next year.
The News Corp report said RA had tabled Jorgensen a two-year deal but did not specify for what years.
RA and NSW Rugby have pitched a three-year deal to Jorgensen and his management to take him through to the 2027 World Cup.
RA would not comment on negotiations.
“We’re not going to comment on rumours or negotiations,” said an RA spokesperson. “We are currently working with Max and his management on his future.”
