Dedeepya Rao, a local Bharat Rashtra Samiti (BRS) corporator in Hyderabad, was attacked by unidentified women following a dispute over removing flexi boards from outside the residence of a Congress leader in the city.
The incident took place in Hyderabad’s Vengal Rao Nagar area on Tuesday night after Rao, who works for the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation, ordered the Disaster Response Force (DRF) to remove the flexi boards from outside Congress leader Naveen Yadav’s house.

“This incident happened last night. We have registered a case against the women who had attacked the corporator,” the ANI News agency quoted R Madhusudhan, Detective Inspector Jubilee Hills.
An investigation is currently underway to resolve the conflict.
