While Melbourne opened the season last week, Luke Beveridge’s Dogs just had to sit back and watch round zero, which the premiership coach said was a bit odd.
“It’s a bit unusual, some teams have played twice before we’ve got our season out of the gates,” Beveridge told Fox Footy.
“[But] we come in fresh and ready to go”
