A Ramjanmabhoomi-like movement is not needed on other temple-related issues, RSS general secretary Dattatreya Hosabale said on Sunday in reference to Kashi and Mathura shrines, reports Shishir Arya.
“The matter (Kashi and Mathura) is being heard in court. Even the solution to the Ayodhya dispute finally came through courts. Where’s the need for a movement of a similar scale if the matter can be resolved by the judiciary?” he asked. Speaking after being re-elected general secretary, Hosabale said,“There is a growing demand among saints and VHP for reclaiming Mathura and Kashi, but there cannot be a similar approach to every problem. Hindus under the leadership of social and religious organisations can take up these issues from time to time.”
