Bengaluru neighbours fight over ‘open window sex’ | India News – MASHAHER

BENGALURU: The 1968 Bollywood comedy ‘Padosan’ (Neighbour) and its chartbuster ‘Mere samne wali khidki pe …’ melted hearts with the depiction of on-screen neighbours soaking up the joys of life — all within the limited exposition that a window would allow, quite literally, on each other’s life.
Reel to real. Cut to present-day Bengaluru and a window seems to have turned out to be a rather unintended template for a slapstick bawdy brawl between not-so-friendly padosans.
A 44-year-old homemaker from Avalahalli in Girinagar, south Bengaluru, has filed a police complaint against her newlywed neighbour couple for having sex while keeping the window of their bedroom open.

However, the wife of the newlyweds’ landlord has lodged a counter-complaint, alleging that the homemaker’s family was fighting with her tenants over silly matters with the intention to get them to vacate the house.

As the complaint and counter-complaint went public, both the parties rushed to the Girinagar police station, saying they would like to let the matter rest. Police told them that since FIRs were registered over both the complaints, the complainants would need to approach the court.

On March 8, the homemaker registered an FIR, alleging that she had opened her main door around 10.30 the previous night and found the newlywed tenant couple indulging in the act.

“It was disgusting. I told them to shut the window and do whatever they wanted. The couple abused me and issued dire threats to rape and kill me, ” she said.

In reply, the house owner’s wife on March 10 filed a counter-complaint, accusing the homemaker and her family of intentionally picking up a fight with their tenants.

The newlyweds and their landlord and the homemaker and her husband have been booked under multiple sections of Indian Penal Code.
