Housing Minister John Carey has not ruled out increasing stamp duty relief for first homebuyers but stressed his primary focus was on speeding up the supply of new dwellings.
Speaking at the unveiling of four prefabricated “tiny homes” – which will be used for social housing – Mr Carey said the “critical answer” to WA’s skyrocketing housing prices was accelerating construction.
