Wall Street’s main indexes have kicked off the holiday-shortened week lower as investors looked ahead to commentary from Federal Reserve officials and key inflation data while Boeing gained after the plane maker said its CEO would be stepping down.
Both the S&P 500 and the Dow logged their best weekly percentage gains so far this year on Friday, with the Fed sticking to its guidance of three interest rate cuts this year.
