In an exclusive interview with India Today’s Consulting Editor Rajdeep Sardesai, climate activist Sonam Wangchuk, who on Tuesday ended his 21-day-long hunger strike demanding statehood for Ladakh and its inclusion in the Sixth Schedule of the Constitution, said that all they are asking the Centre is keep its promises on Ladakh.
“No, we are not at all against the central government. We would just appeal to the central government to not be against Ladakh. All we are asking is keep your promises,” Sonam Wangchuk said.
