Theatre Week, the Los Angeles-area celebration of the performing arts spotlighting musicals, plays and theatrical events throughout Los Angeles and Orange County, is running through from March 26 to April 14. Tickets start at $20 for Theatre Week and are available through TodayTix.
“The performing arts play an essential role in our communities, uniting us through unforgettable in-person experiences,” said Tracy Geltman, general manager of TodayTix. “Theatre Week is a great opportunity for folks to explore the arts scene. It’s about discovering new talent, sharing laughs and tears, and backing our local artists as they make magic onstage. Plus, it also offers crucial support for vital cultural institutions throughout the region.”
Geltman also said, “There are so many incredible shows to see during this period, but one show I am especially excited to showcase in LA Theatre Week is ‘One of the Good Ones.’ As the 2023 Regional Theatre Tony Award-winner, Pasadena Playhouse stands as a testament to the dedication of their loyal members. This loyalty enables the creation of groundbreaking new works such as ‘One of the Good Ones.’”
The celebration seeks to provide audiences with the opportunity to experience shows at affordable prices.
Participating shows and performing arts organizations include: Center Theatre Group, Segerstrom Center for the Performing Arts, Pasadena Playhouse, Geffen Playhouse, Musical Theatre West, East West Players, The Hudson Theatres, Funny Girl, Clue, A Strange Loop, Alex Edelman’s Just For Us, One Of The Good Ones, Jelly’s Last Jam, Fat Ham, Cirque du Soleil: KOOZA, Million Dollar Quartet, Ain’t Misbehavin’, Newsies, Kairos, Unbroken Blossoms, SAW The Musical and more.
