KOTA KINABALU: A woman in her forties was severely injured when a tree fell on her car along Laya-Laya, Tuaran, on Tuesday.
No further details were obtained about the woman who was trapped and pulled out from the compact car.
The Fire and Rescue Department initially received a report of the incident at 5pm, and a team from the Tuaran fire station were dispatched to the location.
“The victim was stuck in the car. She was extracted by the team … The operation ended at 5.50pm,” said the Department spokesman.
