Perth’s runaway property market has been laid bare after a home in the backblocks of Wanneroo recently sold for the same price as a sprawling, renovated house in North Perth just five years ago.
The stark change in buying power follows a 43 per cent increase in house prices over the past five years — according to the PropTrack index.
