Hello and Happy Easter to all those who celebrate.
Had enough of chocolate? The best part of a long weekend is there’s usually footy on Monday. Whatever happened to the old Monday night football? Having flubbed your way through the first day of thee working week, it was always nice to know you could come home, rug up and there’d be footy on the TV.
I digress. We’re at CommBank Stadium for the traditional blockbuster between the Eels and Tigers. It’s Monday footy, but in the bright sunshine.
If you want long lines in which you never make it to the front of the beer queue, port-a-loos stuck on the hill and corporate boxes where you chuck the beer in an esky full of ice and sit on a plastic chair, you’ve come to the wrong Tigers game.
Anyway, we can’t wait.
