When one question paper is changed at the last minute, Rahul is the only one who fares well because he decides to actually work hard and decides to write the exam by fair means. However, other frustrated students misunderstand his achievements and beat him up, leading him to sustain serious hand injuries, because of which he loses a year in college. During the same time, Shalini comes to Rahul’s house to meet him and tells him that she’s aware of his love for her.
