PETALING JAYA: No police reports have been lodged against Umno Youth chief Dr Muhamad Akmal Saleh over a social media post showing him holding a sword.
Inspector-General Tan Sri Razarudin Husain said that as such, no investigation of the matter has been initiated.
“I can confirm that no reports have been lodged so far and we have yet to open any investigations,” he said when contacted on Wednesday (April 3).
Dr Muhamad Akmal had on March 14 posted a picture of himself holding a sword with the caption: “No matter what, we will not waver from our stance. Better to die standing than live kneeling.”
Dr Muhamad Akmal had on March 17 publicly campaigned for a boycott of all KK Super Mart stores after socks bearing the term “Allah” were found in one outlet.
A day earlier he demanded that KK Super Mart hang banners of apology at all 881 outlets nationwide.
