A three-year-old girl has been rescued from a lake in Merseyside after getting out of a nearby home.
The child fell into the lake near Shirebrook Close in Thatto Heath at around 2.11pm this afternoon.
Police officers rescued her just after 10 minutes later, and gave her CPR.
Paramedics and an air ambulance arrived at the scene and the girl was taken to Alder Hey Children’s Hospital.
Police say her family are with her at hospital.
