Lok Sabha Election 2024 Updates: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address rallies and hold roadshows in West Bengal’s Jalpaiguri, Bihar’s Nawada, and Madhya Pradesh’s Jabalpur today as he kickstarted the BJP’s Lok Sabha campaign. Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is also scheduled to participate in the roadshow in Nawada. PM Modi will visit Bengal a day after a team of the anti-terror agency NIA was attacked in East Medinipur district during a raid in a 2022 bomb blast. West Bengal Chief Minister and Trinamool Congress supremo Mamata Banerjee slammed the BJP-led Centre over the incident. The 2024 Lok Sabha elections will be spread over 44 days, and held in seven phases from April 19 to June 1, as announced by the Election Commission of India. The results will be declared on June 4.
