In a video posted by his trainer, which was later shared by the actor’s fan pages, Ranbir Kapoor is depicted engaging in various activities to prepare for his role. The film, which would have Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi in the lead as Lord Ram and Sita, went on floors in April.
The first two days of the ‘Ramayana’ shoot were stressful for the makers after pictures of actors in costume with hair and makeup were leaked. Sources tell India Today that director Nitesh Tiwari is very upset with the photos coming out. Hence, a strict no-phone policy has been imposed on the set. IndiaToday. In has learnt that Tiwari and his team have also instructed extra staff and crew to be off the set when the shoot starts. Only actors and technicians required for the scene have been asked to be on set and everyone else has been denied permission for access.
Ranbir Kapoor is yet to start his part of the shoot. The team of ‘Ramayana’ is also toying with the idea of having a body double on set to prevent any actual footage of Kapoor from being leaked.
