As per the title, The Lost Girl is about a lost girl. The story commences in 1984 in Delhi during the riots. Suhani (Aronica Ranoliya), a five-year-old girl, loses her parents in the riots. This, obviously, has a detrimental effect on her. Fortunately, she is adopted by Ram Singh (Bhupesh… Singh) and his wife Angrezo (Poonam Jangra) and they take good care of her. But Suhani starts getting dreams about her biological parents. But she is unable to find out that she has been adopted by her parents. The dreams soon turn into nightmares. Meanwhile, her marriage is fixed with a young man Suraj (Raveesh Singh). But on the day of her marriage, she decides to find the truth about her parents. Will she ever get to know the truth about her identity? The answer to this question forms the rest of the story.
