The New South Wales police officer who fatally shot the Bondi Junction attacker as he embarked on his terrifying stabbing rampage at the popular shopping centre has been hailed a hero for her brave actions.
The woman was one of dozens of officers who had rushed to the Westfield Bondi Junction shopping centre just after 3pm on Saturday following reports a number of people had been stabbed.
