An award-winning financial counsellor says Bankwest’s move to close branches across the Pilbara by the end of June will leave some of the country’s most vulnerable without reliable access to banking.
“It creates massive amounts of confusion and people in the communities are really scared and worried about what’s going to happen to their money,” Veronica Johnson from Broome CIRCLE said.
