NEW DELHI: A labourer was shot dead by terrorists on Wednesday in Anantnag, Kashmir. The deceased was identified as Raju Shah from Bihar. He was rushed to the hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
This is the second incident of terror attack on a non local this month. Earlier, Pramjit Singh, a cab driver from Delhi was attacked by terrorists on April 8.However, he did not suffer any fatal injuries.
The motive behind the attack is yet to be determined, but initial reports suggest targeting non-local residents to deter them during election. The region is going to polls on April 19, 2024.
