Veteran forward Jesse Bromwich will tick off a unique milestone when his Dolphins take on the Eels at TIO Stadium, Darwin.
The 34-year-old, who will retire at the end of the season, will become the first player in rugby league’s 116-year history to start at prop in 300 games.

And Bromwich’s experience will be crucial for the Dolphins, who have been hit with a bad run of injuries — that latest being Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow’s hamstring injury.
Trai Fuller has been plucked from Queensland Cup to replace him at fullback, while Sean O’Sullivan has been recalled on the bench for the suspended Anthony Milford.
The Eels, however, are flying high after a gritty win over the Cowboys. Coach Brad Arthur made the call to bring Daejarn Asi into the side to partner Dylan Brown and it worked a treat with the back-up playmaker scoring the matchwinning try and icing the game with a field goal.
Rookie Blaize Talagi, who was the first to step in for Mitchell Moses before being dropped last week, has been recalled on the bench for a bit of x-factor.
