BTS, UNICEF team up again for children’s mental health campaign – MASHAHER

Global K-pop phenomenon BTS is back with another powerful message for young people, this time focusing on mental health. On Monday, April 22, BTS and the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) launched the #OnMyMind initiative, the second chapter of their successful Love Myself campaign.

#OnMyMind aims to raise awareness and improve access to mental health resources for young people around the world. Building on the themes of self-love and acceptance from Love Myself, the new initiative tackles the growing concern of mental health issues among young people.

To help kick off this campaign, BTS, label Big Hit and UNICEF are offering those who wish to participate in the opportunity to send electronic postcards via the Korean Committee’s UNICEF website to share their stories, what’s on their minds, challenges they may be facing and more.â

This isn’t BTS’s first rodeo with UNICEF. The groups’ successful Love Myself campaign, launched in 2017, addressed self-esteem and ending violence against children. It generated millions of dollars in support and positive social media engagement.

Details about specific #OnMyMind programs and activities are yet to be revealed, but with BTS’s global influence and UNICEF’s reach, the initiative is expected to make a significant impact.
