A trio of Broncos have been named as some of Round 7’s top performers after a strong performance against the Raiders.
A Dragons gun has emerged as the NRL’s most dangerous outside back alongside his halfback who was dominant as ever.
Meanwhile, a duo of Dolphins had breakout games in their demolition of the Eels.

FULLBACK
Reece Walsh — 2 tries, 3 linebreaks, 160 running metres, 1 secondary try assist
Walsh was at his electric best against the Raiders.
The Maroons No.1 was on fire and looked like breaking the line almost every time he touched the ball.
Walsh showed he’s once again ready to take the field in the Origin arena and is almost a shoe-in after Kalyn Ponga’s injury.
WINGERS
Jack Bostock — 3 tries, 153 running metres, 5 tackle busts, 3 linebreaks, 1 try assist
A breakout performance for this young gun.
A hattrick and a try assist for Bostock to stamp his mark on the competition with his best NRL display to date.
The 20-year-old knows he’s got the backing of veteran Wayne Bennett and is now delivering on his promise and talent.
Jacob Kiraz — 1 try, 184 running metres, 2 linebreaks, 2 tackle busts, 1 try assist
A mammoth display from one of the NRL’s best ball-running outside backs.
Kiraz scored and broke the line twice, whilst also assisting a Stephen Crichton try.
The Bulldogs flyer was a huge factor in his side’s big win over the Knights.

CENTRES
Kayal Iro — 192 running metres, 4 tackle busts, 73 post contact metres
Iro is making it near impossible for Craig Fitzgibbon to take him out of the team.
The 24-year-old was excellent against the Cowboys, putting in a tireless performance in the centres.
He broke four tackles and tallied 192 running metres and will once again keep Siosifa Talakai out of the Sharks starting side.
Zac Lomax — 1 try, 153 running metres, 1 tackle break, 1 linebreak assist
Is Lomax the NRL’s in-form player?
Despite moving back to the centres, the Dragons gun was a man on a mission against the Warriors and took over the Dally M points leaderboard after seven rounds.
He gave Eels fans a glimpse of the future and he’s not slowing down any time soon.
FIVE-EIGHTH
Ezra Mam — 1 try, 3 try assists
Mam was as dangerous as ever against the Raiders.
His stats paint the full picture, scoring one try before assisting three more to pile the points on the Canberra side.
Alongside Walsh, the Broncos are once again proving they are premiership threats.
HALFBACK
Ben Hunt — 1 try, 3 try assists, 1 linebreak, 4 tackle busts
Hunt showed his class against the Warriors with a playmaking masterclass.
He had a hand in four tries and showed why he’s one of the game’s most highly-regarded halfbacks.
Hunt’s form could see him once again provide a one-two punch with Harry Grant in the Maroons’ dummy-half role.
PROPS
Addin Fonua-Blake — 234 running metres, 5 tackle busts, 1 offload, 90 post-contact metres
Despite going down to the Dragons, Fonua-Blake was again an ever-present force for the Warriors.
He tallied almost a century of post-contract metres and broke five tackles, consistently making a dent in the Red V defence.
Fonua-Blake’s showing he’s fully committed to the New Zealand club despite leaving at the season’s end.

James Fisher-Harris — 118 running metres, 27 tackles, 1 offload, 1 linebreak, 4 tackle busts
It was a big week for Fisher-Harris, announcing he’d be leaving the Panthers after the 2024 season.
But that didn’t stop him from showing he’s prepared to continue to put his body on the line for his current club.
Against the Tigers he made 27 tackles, broke four tackles and also made a linebreak in an impressive performance.
HOOKER
Reed Mahoney — 3 try assists, 2 linebreak assists, 44 tackles
Mahoney was in everything against the Knights, and was also involved in a scuffle in the tunnel after being sin-binned.
While that moment was in the headlines, Mahoney’s performance was incredibly impressive, recording three try assists from hooker.
He also made 44 tackles in a tireless defensive effort in the middle of the park.
BACK ROWERS
Jordan Riki — 1 try, 95 running metres, 4 tackle busts, 37 tackles
Yet another Bronco that’s been named in this side.
Riki showed his attacking prowess against the Raiders, scoring a try and breaking four tackles on the edge.
What’s more is he did the hard work too, making 37 tackles.
David Fifita — 1 try, 4 tackle busts, 84 running metres, 1 linebreak, 1 linebreak assist
An impressive performance from the Titans gun, coming off the bench.
He scored a try, broke four tackles and broke the line once, whilst also helping one of his teammates slice through the Manly defence.
Des Hasler has used Fifita off the bench at times this season, but after his display he could be forced to name him in the run on side.
LOCK
Max Plath — 2 tries, 85 running metres, 2 tackle busts, 2 secondary try assists, 31 tackles
A breakout performance for another Dolphins gun.
Plath was in everything as Wayne Bennett’s side put the Eels to the sword, scoring two tries.
He also recorded two secondary try assists and tallied an impressive 31 tackles, locking himself in to the No.13 jersey.
