Malayalam superstar Mohanlal set the dance floor on fire at an award show in Kochi as he danced to Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Zinda Banda’ song from ‘Jawan’. He performed to Rajinikanth’s song ‘Hukum’ from ‘Jailer’ as well. A video of Mohanlal dancing to these chartbusters is now doing the rounds on social media. At 63, Mohanlal showcased his energetic dance performance, which raised many eyebrows.
The ‘Barroz’ actor gave a special performance at the Vanitha Film Awards 2024. He was seen wearing a cheetah printed shirt with brown leather pants and jacket, reminding us of his retro look from ‘Jailer’.

For the unaware, ‘Zinda Banda’ was one of the chartbusters from Shah Rukh Khan and Atlee’s ‘Jawan’. The song is composed by Anirudh Ravichander. ‘Jawan’ became one of the highest grossing Indian films by grossing over Rs 1,100 crore worldwide.

Mohanlal played a cameo in Rajinikanth’s ‘Jailer’, directed by Nelson Dilipkumar. The songs in the film were composed by Anirudh Ravichander as well. ‘Jailer’ grossed over Rs 600 crore worldwide and became a blockbuster.
On the work front, Mohanlal is presently shooting for Prithviraj Sukumaran’s ‘L2: Empuraan’. Recently, he announced his 360th film, which will see him reunite with Shobhana. The film will be directed by Tharun Moorthy. Apart from these films, he also has ‘Barroz’, ‘Ram’ and ‘Vrushabha’ at different stages of production.
