Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra hit out at Prime Minister Narendra Modi and compared him to “gyani uncle” at wedding ceremonies. She said that there is a “gyani uncle at every wedding ceremony, who gripes about everything and gives sermons”.
“Now, if this gyaani uncle says there is a political party that will bring an X-ray machine into your house, scan all your savings, mangalsutras and gold, which will be taken, and the wealth redistributed, you would say he has lost it,” she said at an election rally in Valsad’s Dharampur in Gujarat.
“But these are the same things PM Modi is putting forward by using his position,” she said.
