The Sydney Morning Herald reported Gorden has been in talks with the Titans with the Rebels facing being axed from Super Rugby Pacific due to massive debt.
Gordon is off contract with the Rebels and Rugby Australia at the end of the 2024 season.

He was selected by Eddie Jones for last year’s Rugby World Cup after a breakout season.
With the Rebels in administration and potentially set to be axed by Rugby Australia in 2025, Gordon’s future is uncertain, so his management are looking at alternative options to continue his playing career.
The 23-year-old’s management reportedly met Titans officials to discuss a potential contract for 2025 and beyond.
The Titans told the SMH that a meeting did take place, but they baulked at the asking price of $700,000 a season due to his lack of rugby league experience.
Titans coach Des Hasler was aware of the meeting, which was requested by Gordon’s management, but did not attend.

Gordon’s agent Anthony Picone confirmed his client had genuine interest in making a switch to the NRL, and his management group had been in contact with several NRL clubs, but apart from the Titans he would not name them.
Gordon’s interest in rugby league comes on the back of Wallabies winger Mark Nawaqanitawase defecting to the Roosters on a two-year-deal starting in 2025, while Jordan Petaia met Dragons coach Shane Flanagan this month.
