WA households could save almost $3000 per year on power bills under a bold energy efficiency scheme being pitched ahead of next month’s Federal Budget.
The Australian Council of Social Service (ACOSS) wants the Federal Government to establish a fund to subsidise energy upgrades for low-income households, including electric heat pumps, rooftop solar and electric appliances.
