A mouth-watering Saturday night clash awaits with the Dees set to take on the Cats at the MCG.
Melbourne (5-2, 126.1%) was too strong for the Tigers on Anzac Day Eve and have nestled themselves inside the top four in the early part of the season. Simon Goodwin will back that same side in on Saturday night, going in with an unchanged lineup.
Meanwhile, Geelong (7-0, 135.4%) remains unbeaten in 2024 after holding on against the Blues last week. Tom Stewart (concussion) returns but the Cats will be without captain Patrick Dangerfield for 4-6 weeks due to a hamstring injury. Forgotten man Gary Rohan will play his first game of the season, while Jhye Clark has also been recalled. Brandon Parfitt and Mark O’Connor have both been managed.
