Emergency services were responding to an out-of-control fire south of Perth — with multiple properties reported to be under threat — on Wednesday night.
Firefighters were at the scene of a bushfire in the vicinity of Wedgetail Court, in Brookdale at 10pm.
A police spokesman confirmed officers were also at the scene, assisting emergency services.
Firefighters from Cockburn, Armadale and Welshpool were dispatched to the scene.
It comes as firefighters respond to a separate blaze in Mount Nasura, near Brookton Highway.
