Lok Sabha elections 2024: Case against 93 government workers for skipping election duty training in Lucknow – MASHAHER


An FIR will be registered against as many as 93 government employees for skipping election duty training in Lucknow. The legal action has been initiated in compliance with the guidelines of the Election Commission of India.

The FIR will be lodged based on orders from district official Suryapal Gangwar.

The second training session for polling staff for completion of the Lok Sabha general election process was conducted today at Jayanarayan (KKC) PG College, the official said.

Training is mandatory for all staff, the district election officer added.

Voting will be held in 7 phases for 80 seats in Uttar Pradesh. In the fourth phase scheduled for May 13, voting will be held in Shahjahanpur, Kheri, Dhaurahara, Sitapur, Hardoi, Misrikh, Unnao, Farrukhabad, Etawah, Kannauj, Kanpur, Akbarpur and Bahraich.
