The Knights will be aiming for three straight wins when they take on the Tigers in Tamworth in what is a Wests’ home game.

Despite superstar fullback Kalyn Ponga missing the last two games, Newcastle have shown plenty of grit in wins over the in-form Dolphins and Warriors.

Ponga’s replacement David Armstrong, has quickly adapted to the NRL standard, impressing in his two starts to date.

Newcastle welcome back Tyson Frizell in a huge boost. Dylan Lucas, who has played really well in the back row in Frizell’s absence, shifts to the bench.

The Tigers have struggled of late since winning two of their first three games under new coach Benji Marshall, having lost five in a row.

They well welcome back skipper Api Koroisau, who missed one game with a back injury. However, halfback Aidan Sezer will miss the next four games (suspension). He’s been replaced in the halves by Jayden Sullivan.

Centre Starford To’a makes just his second appearance of the season, pushing Brent Naden to the wing and Solomon Alaimalo out of the 17.
