Police busted an IPL betting gang and arrested two men in Uttar Pradesh’s Hapur on Tuesday. They also seized Rs 2.47 lakh in cash, laptop, and mobile phones from the accused’s possession.
A probe revealed that Ajim and Arafat used the Cricket Live Guru app to track, mark IPL scores and engage people to bet online on the ongoing IPL matches.
During the interrogation, the duo revealed that they worked with Himanshu, Furkan, Das Nishu alias Neeraj Lal, Imran alias Immu, and Delhi resident Nikku for IPL betting.
The other accused are on the run and efforts are on to catch them.
