In a recent Instagram post, director Kabir Khan lauded Aaryan’s unwavering commitment, narrating the actor’s astounding journey from 39% to 7% body fat. Khan shared, “The story of Chandu Champion is an incredibly inspiring true story but the journey that Kartik went through to become this champion is no less inspiring. I met him when he had put on weight for a role. He had 39 percent body fat. I told him that he had to portray an international-level multi-disciplinary sportsperson. He just smiled and said ‘I will do it Sir’. A year and a half later with no use of steroids – something that he was adamant about – we took this photo on set. Body fat 7 per cent!! I’m proud of you @kartikaaryan.”
Trainer Tridev Pandey shed light on the rigorous regime Aaryan embraced to achieve his chiselled physique naturally. In an interview with Pinkvilla, Pandey remarked, “To come to 7% from 39% fat is not a joke. We followed a strict discipline to achieve this and that too without steroids.” Despite gruelling shooting schedules, Aaryan’s unwavering discipline and commitment to fitness prevailed, garnering praise from his trainer and director alike.
