Badminton: Zii Jia: I’ve finally found my mojo in Thailand – MASHAHER

PETALING JAYA: Professional shuttler Lee Zii Jia says that he is back at his best after capturing the Thailand Open.

On Sunday, Zii Jia showed class in his 21-10, 21-11 demolition of Angus Ng Ka Ling of Hong Kong in just 33 minutes in Bangkok. It was his first title this year and first in eight months since winning the Arctic Open in Finland in October last year.

“I think I played one of my best performances here,” said the world No. 10 Zii Jia.

“I’ve been trying to find my best performance and finally I got it here.

“I hope that I can keep the confidence and momentum going for the next tournament and get a good result at home (Malaysian Masters starting on Tuesday at Axiata Arena in Bukit Jalil).

“I hope to carry forward all the positives from this week to next, especially at home,” added Zii Jia.
