WA’s fair share deal to ensure the State receives at least 75 cents back for every dollar sent to Canberra is “responsible”, Treasurer Jim Chalmers has declared.
Speaking after the release of Labor’s third budget on Tuesday, the Treasurer defended the cost of the GST deal, which the Government had revealed would cost taxpayers more than $52 billion by the end of the decade.
