Shah Rukh Khan, co-owner of IPL team Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), celebrated the team’s triumph with a lap of honour at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on May 21. Shah Rukh Khan, accompanied by his children Suhana Khan and Abram Khan, greeted the crowd after KKR’s amazing victory over Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), which clinched their position in the IPL 2024 finals. The KKR and Indian Premier League (IPL) official Instagram sites both published photos and videos of the family’s celebratory walk. SRK chants filled the stadium, as Shah Rukh thrilled supporters with his signature open-arms posture. KKR’s official Instagram feed shared images of Shah Rukh Khan thanking fans, captioning them with, “Our lucky charm, our King Khan!”

Furthermore, the IPL’s official Instagram page shared a video of KKR players talking about how Shah Rukh Khan’s presence improves their confidence. Several videos on X (formerly known as Twitter) captured SRK, Suhana, and Abram during their lap of honour at the stadium.
On a professional level, Shah Rukh Khan was last seen in the film Dunki. His upcoming film, reportedly named King, is set to star him alongside his daughter, Suhana Khan. Anirudh Ravichander is rumored to have composed the film’s soundtrack. However, an official announcement about the same is pending.
Suhana Khan, on the other hand, made her acting debut in Zoya Akhtar’s movie The Archies last year. Set in 1960s India, the film follows Archie and his companions as they manage romance, friendship, and the approaching threat of development to their beloved park. She appeared alongside Agastya Nanda, Khushi Kapoor, Vedang Raina, Mihir Ahuja, Dot, and Yuvraj Menda.
