AFL Teams Round 11 2024 – MASHAHER

The Dockers have confirmed a key ruck will play tomorrow night against Collingwood, while the Pies themselves have flown a massive squad to Perth, giving them plenty of options for the big clash.

Meanwhile, the Demons look likely to welcome the return of a key winger, while another will exit concussion protocols for their match against St Kilda on Sunday.

And last night, the in-form Swans and Bulldogs kept things simple heading into tonight’s clash at Marvel Stadium, making just one change each.

Justin Longmuir has confirmed that Sean Darcy will return for the Dockers tomorrow night against Collingwood to partner up once again with Luke Jackson.

Darcy has missed the last two matches with a calf niggle, after being subbed off in Fremantle’s Round 8 match against Richmond with the issue.

For their opponents the Pies, Channel 7’s Mitch Cleary reported that veterans Scott Pendlebury and Steele Sidebottom are on the flight to Perth after a six-day break.

Additionally, Brody Mihocek looks to have been given the all-clear by doctors for his hamstring test earlier in the week, and should return in a much-needed boost in offence for Collingwood.

Charlie Dean, Ash Johnson and Nathan Kreuger have also joined along for the trip; presumably as emergencies, but not entirely clear given the large squad.

An injured Jordan De Goey is surprisingly also travelling, perhaps in a bench role for the club.

Meanwhile for the Dees, Ed Langdon should make his way back into the side for Sunday’s match at the MCG, after returning from his sister’s wedding.

Jacob van Rooyen was training with the ‘A’ team on Thursday morning, also as per Channel 7’s Mitch Cleary, and is expected to also return after a concussion in Round 9 against Carlton.

Sydney will be without defender Robbie Fox as expected for tonight’s clash, after he was subbed out of last Friday night’s dominant win over Carlton with a shoulder injury, and has been replaced by Matt Roberts, who was rested last week.

At the Bulldogs, Jason Johannisen remains on the sidelines, so they’ve made just one unforced change as utility Anthony Scott takes the place of defender Luke Cleary.

Ryley Sanders has at least been elevated to an emergency after missing the squad entirely last week, with his VFL dominance not enough to force his way into the midfield mix.

The rest of the sides for Round 11 will be confirmed at 6:20pm on Thursday.
