An injured bushwalker has been rescued after spending a night on a mountain following a fall.
A helicopter winched the man in his 40s and another hiker to safety in Queensland’s Scenic Rim region on Sunday morning.
He was transported to Princess Alexandra Hospital in a stable condition for treatment.
He is believed to have fallen about five to 10 metres on Saturday and suffered shoulder injuries.
The man and three friends were forced to stay on the mountain overnight with first responders who had hiked to their location due to poor weather conditions.
The other uninjured bushwalkers were also flown to safety on a different rescue helicopter.
