Ameesha Patel, who played a key role in the 2007 film Bhool Bhulaiyaa, recently lauded Kartik Aaryan for his performance and efforts in continuing the franchise. During an Ask Me Anything session on her X (formerly Twitter) handle, Ameesha shared her thoughts on Kartik taking the film series forward.

When asked about her opinion on Kartik Aaryan, Ameesha responded, “Superb actor and a superb dancer as well and has taken our franchise BHOOL BHULAIYAA in the best way forward. V proud of him (thumbs up emoji).” This statement highlights her approval and appreciation for Kartik’s contribution to the series.

Kartik Aaryan, who starred in the second instalment of Bhool Bhulaiyaa, is now gearing up for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, co-starring Triptii Dimri, Vidya Balan, Madhuri Dixit and Rajpal Yadav. The shoot for the third film is progressing well, with the climax scenes expected to wrap up within the next 7-10 days. As reported by Bollywood Hungama earlier, director Anees Bazmee is showing remarkable dedication despite health challenges, and Kartik is managing his promotional duties for another film while completing the shoot on schedule.
Besides Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, Kartik is also preparing for the release of Chandu Champion, a sports drama inspired by the life of India’s first Paralympic swimmer, Murlikant Petkar. The film, produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, is set to release on June 14, 2024. Additionally, Kartik has upcoming projects with Vishal Bharadwaj and Sajid Nadiadwala, as well as an untitled romantic film alongside Triptii Dimri.
Ameesha Patel, on the other hand, made a notable comeback in 2023 with Gadar 2: The Katha Continues, reprising her role as Sakina alongside Sunny Deol’s Tara Singh. The film became one of the major hits in Indian cinema, reaffirming Ameesha’s star power and enduring appeal.
