Following the wrap-up of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024, Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli recently enjoyed a well-deserved dinner outing with friends in Mumbai. This comes just days before Virat is scheduled to depart for the US to participate in the upcoming T20 World Cup.

The couple were joined by their close friends, cricketer Zaheer Khan and his wife, actress Sagarika Ghatge. The internet has been abuzz with photos and videos of them leaving a popular Mumbai restaurant. Recently, a new photo from inside the restaurant surfaced online, capturing a heartwarming moment.
The Instagram photo shows Virat and Anushka posing happily with the restaurant staff. Anushka looked chic in a white shirt paired with jeans, while Virat sported a classic black outfit. Both of them beamed brightly for the camera, radiating joy.
This outing marked Anushka’s first public appearance in Mumbai since welcoming their son, Akaay, earlier this year. The news of their second child’s arrival was announced heartwarmingly in February through a statement, “With abundant happiness and our hearts full of love, we are pleased to inform everyone that on February 15, we welcomed our baby boy Akaay and Vamika’s little brother into this world!”
Earlier in May, Anushka celebrated her 36th birthday with a small gathering in Bengaluru. Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) star Faf du Plessis shared a photo on social media featuring the birthday girl alongside him and Virat.
Meanwhile, Anushka Sharma will be seen in a sports movie. Chakda Xpress is a biopic based on the life of legendary Indian cricketer Jhulan Goswami. This film marks her return to the silver screen after a six-year hiatus from acting. Her last film appearance was in Zero alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif in 2018.
