NEW DELHI: North Korea seemingly launched a ballistic missile, as stated by the Japanese government on Thursday. The Japanese coast guard reported that the projectile had already landed in the sea.
According to South Korea‘s military, North Korea had launched a ballistic missile from its eastern coast, as reported by Reuters quoting the South North’s Yonhap News Agency,
Multiple defence ministry officials, as cited by Japanese public broadcaster NHK, indicated that the North Korean missile likely landed outside of Japan‘s exclusive economic zone.
