A woman has been arrested after a man was fatally stabbed at a suburban Sydney home.
Emergency services attended the house at Murrabin Ave in Matraville, in the city’s eastern beaches, about 6.15pm on Tuesday.
Paramedics treated a man for stab wounds but he died at the scene.
Officers arrested a woman near the property and she has since been assisting investigators with their inquiries into the death, police said.
No charges had been laid as of Wednesday morning, when the home remained cordoned off and officers continued to carry out forensic work at the scene.
Local police along with detectives from the state’s Homicide Squad are on the case.
Police dogs were also spotted at the scene.
